How does a photographer end up working with two Candy webshops? Actually very simply: by starting a conversation with each other.
Ingeborg Heule of Ingeborg Heule Photography and Danny Wilmans of Candy Company and Mr Snoep know each other and came up with the idea of doing something together during a conversation.
Ingeborg takes the photos, Danny makes sure there's enough Candy to put in front of the camera (and it probably won't all stay neatly in place 😉).
Sometimes a collaboration really can start that simply.
Candy should look tasty too
Anyone who sells Candy online knows that customers obviously can't smell, feel, or taste the product. So the photos have to do a big part of the work.
And that's exactly what we want to do more with in the coming period.
Ingeborg will be photographing various products and atmosphere shots for Candy Company and Mr Snoep. Photos we can use on the websites, social media, in newsletters, and for promotions.
And for us, it doesn't all have to be super polished and perfect. Candy is colorful, cheerful, and sometimes a little crazy. As far as we're concerned, that can show in the photos too.
A collaboration that goes both ways
We deliberately didn't want it to be a collaboration where Ingeborg just takes a few photos and that's it.
Through Candy Company and Mr Snoep, Danny can bring Ingeborg's work to the attention of a different audience. That way, we can both do something for each other.
And maybe that's exactly what makes it fun.
Two completely different companies that normally have little to do with each other, but together turn out to be a surprisingly good match.
Behind the scenes
We'll also be taking you along over the coming period in what we create together.
Not just the final photos, but also an occasional behind-the-scenes look. Because before that one beautiful photo ends up on the webshop, of course a lot has already happened.
The first ideas have already been discussed, and there will probably be plenty of new ones along the way.
